No, make up expires like anything else. Make ups contain organic ingredients and oils. Its like leaving bacon grease sit out too long, bad analogy, I know. Ultimately it's up to you. As a consumer I'd want to make sure I'm getting my moneys worth. But everyone has that favorite discontinued shade that we absolutely love at the bottom of the cosmetic bag. We all do it. Powders aren't so bad but don't keep mascaras and liners laying around for years. Is it okay to buy revlon makeup that has been in the shop for ages?
Although, the deals sound amazing. It's probably not the best idea to buy something that has been on the shelf for a long period of time. The quality will decrease, or the product may even expire. Therefore causing irritations of the skin or something even worse.

It should be okay, though, if it hasn't been on shelves for longer than 5-8 months. But anything longer than that, you shouldn't trust it.
